These pumps are located above the level of fluid being pumped and are an excellent option as an alternative to a submersible pump for when a pump can’t be submerged, or pump maintenance needs to be carried out at surface level.
Self-Priming Pumps draw or suck up liquids and evacuate air and gases enabling the pump to stay primed without water in the suction line. These pumps are designed differently to allow air to dissipate, keeping the impeller motor cool and prevent pump burning out.
